Saturday Kitchen: Sara Pascoe drops her cutlery on the floor
Saturday Kitchen descended into "chaos" with guests in fits of laughter as guest Sara Pascoe dropped cutlery during a food segment.
The latest episode of the cookery talk show saw Matt Tebbutt joined by chefs Nathan Outlaw and Georgina Hayden, wine specialist Helen McGinn and special guest Sara Pascoe on Saturday morning (January 4).
The table full of guests sat as they watched Matt Tebbutt and chef and writer Gurdeep Loyal discuss food trends for 2025 and try some new food dishes.
The table was enjoying an Italian Caspari Salad including mozzarella, figs, basil, and olive oil and the guests were instructed to grate frozen gerkin over their dishes.
Gurdeep Loyal explained frozen pickle adds "sourness" and "delicious" vinegar flavour to the salad. Comedian Sara Pascoe picked up her grater and struggled to grate her pickle and quipped: "I shouldn't really be doing this after two glasses of wine".
The guests added it was quite "messy" on the table as the former Great British Sewing Bee host suggested she would need gloves to grate the cold pickle.
As Gurdeep Loyal continued to talk about food trends, Sara dropped a piece of cultery on the floor, leaving her head in her hands with Georgina Hayden and Helen McGinn laughing.
Wielding her grater, she said: "This is one piece of cutlery too many" as guests and Matt Tebbutt laughed. Sara reached under Helen to pick up the dropped cutlery, with wine expert Helen continuing to laugh.
Gurdeep Loyal looked on and simply said: "Chaos" as Matt Tebbutt gave a knowing look to the comedian.
Sara Pascoe appeared on the Saturday morning cooking show to promote her latest tour I Am A Strange Gloop, which will tour UK and Ireland in 2025.
The actress and former host of The Great British Sewing Bee has previously appeared on Out of Her Mind, Have I Got News for You and 8 Out of 10 Cats.
