Paddy McGuinness has been forced to clear up some romance rumours, as he replaced Gregg Wallace on a BBC show. The Take Me Out host appeared to be lighting up for his new co-star, Cherry Healey, as the pair have been presenting Inside The Factory together.
The 51-year-old, who split from wife Christine McGuinness in 2022, shared some pictures of him and Cherry, 44, spending time together on his Instagram account. In several of the images the colleagues and friends had their arms around each other.
Paddy captioned the post, praising Cherry, as he wrote: "The whole crew on Inside The Factory have been a joy to work with. A small but perfectly formed team.
"Also I’d never met @cherryhealey before but we hit it off straight away. Absolutely love working with her, she’s an absolute diamond! The new series starts Tuesday 7th on BBC1 & @bbciplayer."
Straight away fans started to speculate that the former Top Gear host was "soft launching" a new relationship. They all gushed over the stars appearing together, before Paddy was forced to respond to rumours beginning to form.

Paddy was announced as Gregg’s replacement on the BBC show in August 2024 after Wallace, 60, announced his departure from the show in March 2023. At the time he stated that he wanted to dedicate more time to his five-year-old son, Sid, who is autistic.
However, it later emerged that there had reportedly been complaints over alleged “inappropriate” comments. According to reports, Wallace allegedly made remarks about the weight of female staff members while filming at a Nestlé factory in York.
Paddy’s role on the show has brought him full circle, as the first episode sees him return to the Warburtons factory in Bolton where he worked as a teenager.
