Yellowstone fans issue same complaint over character death - and it's about Beth Dutton

Fans of the hit series Yellowstone have taken to social media to share their reactions to the latest character death in the second half of season 5, following a dramatic plot twist in the opening episode.

The shocking turn of events comes after family patriarch John Dutton's staged death, which was revealed to be a hit orchestrated by Jamie's girlfriend Sarah. However, Sarah's time on the show was short-lived, as she met her demise in the subsequent episode.

While many viewers were satisfied to see Sarah face justice, some expressed disappointment that it wasn't at the hands of Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly), John's daughter, reports the Mirror US.

On X, formerly Twitter, one fan wrote: "Glad S***** Sarah is taking a dirt nap, but that kill belonged to Beth. #Yellowstone." (sic)

Others shared similar sentiments, with one commenting: "Seeing Sara Atwood meet her demise the way she did was soooo good. To bad it wasn't Beth who did it, that would have been sweet to see. But none the less Sara got what she deserved." (sic) 

A third fan asked: "Am I the only one that's p***ed that Beth didn't get one last shot at Sarah?" One viewer remarked: "I really thought Beth was gonna be the one to take Sarah to the train station." (sic) 

Yet, the majority of fans expressed relief at the character's exit, with a fan jokingly commenting: "#Yellowstone I wish they would have held out a bit longer on killing Sarah. I wanted to see her panic for a couple more episodes." (sic) 

"Sarah, we would love to say we're gonna miss you, but you in fact were horrible and lived way too long," another viewer stated. 

Another succinctly said: "Sarah Atwood got what she deserved #Yellowstone." (sic) 

Yellowstone airs Sunday nights on Paramount Network, with UK audiences able to stream it the following day on Paramount Plus.
