I'm A Celeb: Dean McCullough quits bush tucker trial
I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! viewers have been left less than impressed with one particular star on the ITV show. On Sunday night, the popular series returned with a fresh line-up of 10 well-known faces, including the likes of Coleen Rooney, Danny Jones and Jane Moore.
Since the show kicked off, fans have seen nail-biting trials, emotional conversations and hilarious moments. However, there’s one person in particular who has taken part in the majority of trials, after constantly being chosen by the public.
Radio star Dean McCullough has been facing the Bushtucker Trials in the show, having done two solo and one alongside GK Barry. Unfortunately, both of his individual trials have been cut early as he shouted the infamous line: “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!”
During each challenge, the 32-year-old has faced a string of critters and reptiles, including crickets, snakes, spiders, green ants and cockroaches. While attempting to earn stars for camp, Dean’s been extremely vocal, screaming in fear whilst trying his best.
On Thursday night, it was revealed that he’ll be doing yet another one alongside McFly’s Danny Jones. Although some viewers have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to share their thoughts on Dean, many do not believe his reactions are genuine.

While discussing Dean's trials on Good Morning Britain, host Susanna Reid wasted no time in sticking up for the radio star. She said: "I have to defend Dean here.
"I don't know him and have never met him, but he had the helmet on, which then got filled with bugs. Then he managed to do the two stars, you collect the stars using your mouth and then you poke it through the little letter box hole. Then the sand came in, this is sand.
"You know what it's like when you get trapped in sand and the sand is continually rising up his legs. Even as I say that I start feeling a little bit panicky!"
Currently, Danny Jones and GK Barry are the top two favourites to win the competition.
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Danny Jones was already a firm favourite to win this year’s edition of I’m A Celebrity and the McFly singer has been smashed in the betting since the beginning of the show, shortening into even-money from 15/8 yesterday.
"Jones is now well clear of GK Barry at 5/1, with Maura Higgins closing in on her in the market at 8/1 from 10/1.Alan Halsall is the big negative in the market, after drifting to 14/1 from 8/1.”
