I'm A Celebrity host Ant McPartlin made a vow as he was questioned about his response to Dean McCullough's latest trial mishap.
Ant, who viewers claimed showed his "true feelings" during Thursday night's (November 21) episode, openly admitted his irritation with the Radio 1 DJ when he appeared on the ITV2 spin-off, I'm A Celebrity Unpacked.
Labelling his behaviour as "unprofessional" while Dean took part in Lethal Lab, Ant pledged to be "kinder" when he takes on the next trial alongside McFly's Danny Jones.
Addressing his reaction, Ant told presenter Joel Dommett: "My annoyance came across on screen and I was quite unprofessional. You get to the point where you're like, What are you doing?'"
The presenter admitted he even struggled to make small talk with Dean, however, said he would try a new approach during the upcoming trial.

"I'll be kind to him today," Ant promised. "I'm going to try good cop today."
During the trial, Dean was tasked with combining two liquids to create a chemical reaction, while his hands were in gloves filled with green ants.
He then moved on to the containment areas, where he had to collect stars using his mouth only, whilst joined by cockroaches, crickets and mealworms, giant lizards, snakes and spiders.
He managed to win two stars for camp in the first and third area, however, called the infamous phrase I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here after being joined by fish guts in the fifth compartment.

After the trial, Ant fumed that if Dean had let them explain what was in the box with him, he wouldn't have panicked and could have continued.
Viewers immediately picked up on Ant's hostility towards Dean as they flocked to social media to share their thoughts.
One fan wrote: "Ant cant stand Dean," as a second added: "Ant shouldn't play poker. His face is saying what we all feel."
A third agreed: "Ant can’t even remotely hide his disdain for Dean."
"Anyone feel like Ant & Dec don’t like Dean? Especially Ant," a fourth added as another declared: "I’m done with Dean. Even Ant and Dec are beyond done with him. Never seen them this disappointed in a contestant before."
