Dune: Prophecy official trailer

Following the premiere of Dune: Prophecy earlier this week, we delve into the impressive cast list as they embrace their new characters.

The prequel series is a spin-off from Denis Villeneuve's grandiose Dune film saga and is set a staggering 10,000 years prior to Paul Atreides' (Timothee Chalamet) rise to power.

The narrative centres around two Harkonnen sisters battling forces that jeopardise humanity's future, while establishing the influential religious order known as the Bene Gesserit, reports the Mirror US.

This fresh Max and Legendary Television production draws inspiration from Brian Herbert and Kevin J Anderson's novel, Sisterhood of Dune, and is situated within the expansive Dune universe originally crafted by author Frank Herbert.

But who are the biggest stars in Dune: Prophecy and where might you have seen them before? Let's find out.
