Kate Middleton attends Remembrance Sunday service
TV presenter Narinder Kaur has come under fire from fuming viewers after making a very controversial statement about Princess Kate Middleton.
The former Big Brother star, who in August 2024 claimed she was receiving “death threats” after “far-right violence” in the wake of the Southport stabbings, hit out at Princess Catherine in a vile social media rant.
Taking to X, Narinder reposted an article about the Princess of Wales, who this weekend attended Remembrance Sunday events after announcing the end of her chemotherapy treatment. Kate has been battling cancer since at least March this year, after undergoing major abdominal surgery.
In a tweet, Narinder wrote: “Genuine question – why has Kate aged so much? Isn’t she only 42? Is she a smoker? It’s the only explanation.”
Another user sarcastically responded: “I don’t know, maybe she’s had cancer for the past year.” But Narinder only doubled down on her comments, writing: “My brother had cancer… he didn’t age like that.”

Now other social media users have taken to X to slam the controversial remarks, with one writing: “I have never seen a group of people more disgusting, abusive, cruel, inhumane, hypocritical and utterly despicable than those who call themselves ‘progressives’.
“We are very sorry a woman who has cancer ‘aged so much’. This woman here, Narinder Kaur, was Labour’s guest during some event a week or so ago!”
Another said: “What is it with leftie commentators like @narindertweets who are utterly vile and nasty?” and someone else agreed: “Just admit you bullied a woman recovering from cancer for LOOKING HER AGE and let it go, you absolute clown.”
Narinder has since admitted her tweet was “stupid”, issuing a video statement on her X account, after numerous abusive tweets threatening her with sexual violence or wishing cancer on her.
She said: “I thought I’d do a quick video instead of tweet after tweet, because it becomes pretty ridiculous – as if it wasn’t ridiculous enough already.
“I put out a stupid tweet. That wasn’t my intention, my intention was not to be malicious or nasty or anything. I’m not like that, anybody who knows me. It was stupid to ask about the ageing. I’ve admitted that, I’ve put my hands up and apologised if it caused offence.
“The only people who were offended, though, because many people on social media have asked what I asked but did not receive the sexual, racial, violent abuse that I did, were accounts with Union Jacks – disgusting abuse.”
She added: “I asked about ageing. I didn’t kill kids, I didn’t wish death on anyone, I didn’t do anything like that. I asked about ageing and if she smoked – nothing to do with cancer at all.
“My brother suffered from cancer, went through brutal treatment with chemo, and he died,” she shared in an emotional statement.
