GMB: Guests speak over each other during Trump debate

Charlotte Hawkins returned to Good Morning Britain alongside her co-presenter, Adil Ray, for Friday's edition of the news programme.

The 49-year-old looked chic as she donned a pink zip-up dress and styled her blonde tresses in her signature style.

Viewers flocked to social media to compliment the newsreader as they all said the same thing.

One wrote: "Charlotte Hawkins & Adil Ray make it Happy GMB Today!!!!"

Another penned: "Charlotte and Adil, these are your two Best presenters. Hands down."

A third wrote: "Morning Adil & Charlotte good to see you on GMB."

Another remarked: "I know I don't normally have @GMB on at 6.00. But I thought I'd make a change this morning for @CharlotteHawkns and @adilray."

"Charlotte, I think you're brilliant," a fifth commented. While another added: "Charlotte is the best."

Meanwhile, viewers noted a blunder during today's broadcast after London viewers didn't receive the correct segment and were instead informed about events in the Channel Islands.

One individual posted: "#gmb why is London getting Meridian news."

Another chimed in:"#Gmb What's happened to Good Morning Britain local London news? " A third queried: "Why are we getting the wrong area news?"

The blunder comes just days after regular host Susanna Reid was forced to intervene when a show guest used inappropriate language on air.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 6am
