Now streaming on Netflix UK, the crowd-pleasing comedy 17 Again featuring Friends legend Matthew Perry and superstar Zac Efron has been made available to British fans.
This iconic film, which first tickled audiences in 2009, may have received a tepid response at its inception, but it has triumphantly endured as a staple teen flick of our era.
The plot centres around a disenchanted Mike O'Donnell (played by Perry) facing imminent divorce, who is inexplicably granted the opportunity to return to his youth, reincarnated as his 17-year-old self (Efron).
With the tragic loss of Perry last year, legions of Friends enthusiasts have been binging the timeless series to honour his memory - but they should not overlook his stellar performance on the silver screen now that 17 Again graces their Netflix catalogue.
One ardent critique shared on Letterboxd exclaims: "If you were to ask me about the 2009 comedy 17 Again starring Zac Efron, I'd probably say I like it", reports the Mirror.
"But if you were to ask me on a deeper level, I'd say it's a masterpiece and never fails to bring a smile to my face.
"I'd say Zac Efron's acting has always been underrated and every choice he made while filming this is top tier and I fear his comedic timing is absolutely immaculate.
