Strictly's Katya Jones supported by co-stars as she makes devastating Christmas admission

Strictly Come Dancing star Katya Jones revealed she spent Christmas with her neighbour as she shared a devastating truth about the festive season.

Taking to Instagram, the choreographer shared snapshots of her Christmas Day which included a selfie of them together, their meal and clips of their decorated dinner table.

The 35-year-old seemed joyful as she pulled a cracker and read its riddles with her neighbour Stuart.

In the caption, Katya penned: “Not everyone’s got their family around on Christmas. In fact, I don’t.

“But I could have asked for a better Christmas, spent with my legendary neighbour Stuart (some of you might have heard about him by now).

“He cooked the loveliest meal for us. We watched Strictly accompanied by wine and had all the chats. Delightful”

Addressing her fans, the Strictly star added: “I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas however you spent it.”

In the comments, her co-star Gorka Marquez remarked: “This is so cute,” as Nancy Xu responded with a plethora of red heart emojis.

Fans also inundated the Russian native with support as one wrote: “Lovely post and a lucky neighbour. Lots of us have Christmas dinner alone and it’s ok.”

As one fan added: “Stuart looks like such a kind and wonderful man. Merry Christmas to you and Stuart, hope you both had an amazing day.”

Thankfully for fans, Katya will soon reunite with her Strictly co-stars as they prepare to head on the Strictly Come Dancing tour next year.

With 30 dates across the UK, kicking off in January, Jamie Borthwick and Michelle Tsiakkas, Montell Douglas and Kai Widdrington, Wynne Evans and Katya will take to the stage.

They will be joined by Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec, JB Gill, Amy Dowden and Lauren Oakley, Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola, Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu.
