Viewers of Deal or No Deal were left frustrated after one contestant walked away with less than expected.
The long-running ITV series challenges contestants to test their luck and nerve as they decide whether to keep the cash inside a sealed box or accept an offer from the elusive banker. The programme featured contestant Sandra, who hoped to walk away with £100,000.
Despite the unfortunate losses, she was left with two boxes at the end: £50 and £3,000. Although Sandra chose to accept the final offer of £1,760, fans think she should’ve chosen the earlier £5,100 offer instead.
One viewer pointed out: “Technically, Sandra has not beaten the banker as he offered £5,100 at one stage and she finally dealt on £1,760.”
Sandra's decision ultimately cost her a significant amount of money, as she walked away with considerably less than the banker’s earlier offer.
One person said: "She deals at 1760 and had 50 in her box. At least she got something out of a bad game but maybe she shouldn't have listened to her daughter's advice quite so much?"
Another viewer commented on her final decision, saying: “Good final offer of £1,760 with £50 and £3,000 left. Her daughter says deal.”
Many fans took to social media to debate whether Sandra made the right choice or if she should have risked it for a higher payout.
A viewer raged: "Sandra listening to her silly daughter has cost her thousands. I would have dealt at the £5,100 or probably even the previous offer because I'm not greedy like these silly people on this program. #dealornodeal."
"Can’t believe there hasn’t been a big number in the box on #DealOrNoDeal yet. Must be due soon. Sandra has had a shocker today" another person said.
One other viewer wrote: "Sandra's offer: £5,100. Stephen: 'Let's not get the £75K or £25K' Next two boxes: 75K AND £25K! Greed gets 'em every time! New offer: £430 (or BFH)#DealOrNoDeal."
