Carol Kirkwood and Naga Munchetty, who have worked on BBC Breakfast for years together, tend to share a lot of banter when they are on-air. On Thursday's (October 17) the laughter was in the air as Naga demanded the meteorologist serve up a "beautifully choreographed" delivery of the weather.
However, Carol felt that she'd let Naga and her current co-star Ben Thompson down, airing: "Naga and Ben, I've failed miserably, it wasn't flawless, it wasn't beautifully choreographed."
"Aww don't worry," agreed the Radio 5Live host as Ben chimed in bringing some balance to the discussion: "It was just the weather, it wasn't your performance. That's the rubbish bit, the weather."
Shocked at his comments, Naga interrupted adding: "That's nice because I was going to say I never expected Carol to be flawless." Carol flung her head back laughing, later proclaiming: "I am outraged Naga, outraged."
