A crunch debate between the last two remaining candidates in the race to replace Rishi Sunak as next Tory leader can be watched live today.

Kemi Badenoch and Robert Jenrick will be questioned by Conservative Party members in a two-hour live show on GB News.

Who goes first out of the pair will be decided on the toss of a coin. Each will then get 45 minutes to set out why they should be the next Tory leader.

It will be a five-minute opening pitch followed by 40 minutes of touch questions from the floor, chaired by GB News' Political Editor Christopher Hope.

Following the debate, a special edition of Patrick Christys Tonight will air from 9pm. GB News political correspondents, studio guests and members of both candidates' campaigns will analyse who came out on top.

GB News Editorial Director and former Sunday Express editor Michael Booker said: “We are speeding towards decision time for Conservative Party members after MPs had their say.

“GB News is the home of great debate and we are delighted the two contenders will be making their case to members live on the channel as well as those watching and listening across Britain.

“It’s sure to be the key moment in the race to be leader.”

The vote remains open for Conservative Party members until October 31 and the outcome will be announced on November 2.

Decision Time: The Race to Lead is on GB News tonight from 7pm.
