Ruth Langsford made a dazzling comeback to the This Morning set on Monday, September 30. The Loose Women presenter was glowing in a shimmering silver dress as she returned alongside three of her co-stars.

The ladies - including Coleen Nolan, Olivia Attwood and Jane Moore - were marking 25 years of the ITV midday programme with This Morning presenters Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley.

Ruth is well-known for co-hosting This Morning with her ex-husband Eamonn Holmes. The duo revealed their surprising separation back in May and since then, GB News presenter Eamonn has been spotted holidaying with his new partner, reports the Mirror.

Pointing to Ruth and Coleen, Ben said "The two of you have been on it (Loose Women) from the beginning?" To which Ruth confirmed: "And Jane."

"Did you think when you did that first ever show it would still be going 25 years on?" Ben added. Jane replied: "No it was only commissioned for four weeks - at the end of the four weeks we all went 'bye'. It was really lovely, what fun and then it got recommissioned and it just kept coming back."

Ruth famously co-hosted This Morning alongside her former husband Eamonn Holmes, as the pair regularly hosted Fridays and provided holiday cover for former hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

She made no mention of her time hosting on This Morning or her surprise split from Eamonn.

Ruth and Eamonn announced their shock split back in May and since then GB News host Eamonn has been photographed on holiday with his new girlfriend.

Fans rushed to share their support for Ruth as she spoke to Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley, as one said: "They should have Ruth and Rylan back on the show."

One fan slyly said: "Ruth back on the this morning sofa just needs Eamonn..."

A third chimed in: "Ruth comes across a lot happier having binned that bitter and twisted old husband."

This Morning airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
