Kate Middleton shares cancer update in personal video message
Amanda Holden has revealed she was left "weeping" over Princess Kate's touching family video shared with fans on Monday.
Kate, 42, who announced she was battling cancer in March, shared her relief at finally completing her chemotherapy treatment in what has been "an incredibly tough year" for the royal family.
In the clip, the Princess of Wales shared: "The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown."
As she voiced her update, fans were given a rare insight into Prince William and Kate creating fond memories with their three children; Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis and Kate's parents Carole and Michael Middleton.
Addressing the clip on Heart Radio this morning, Amanda admitted the "gorgeous" video left her "weeping".
She shared: "I mean, what a brave battle and having to do it all in public.
"As a family, they just look so tight and where they were filming it looks like my favourite beach in the world, which is Holkham up in Norfolk."
Amanda said seeing the video had reminded her of her own precious family moments, adding: "You look at it and go, 'Aren't we all lucky?'

"Health and family is the most amazing, most important thing."
The presenter's co-star JK chimed in to say that the clip also proved the royals were "just like us" and that "everyone has their own personal battles", to which Amanda agreed.
She added: "It's beautifully shot and yeah I just wish them all the very best. I felt awful that she had to sort of sit there and explain herself in the first place, because of the press and social media, that made me boil with anger.
"So, I hope that now she's done this, they can get off her back and she can quietly drift back into public life."
Amongst the personal insight, Kate also went on to say that her priority moving forward is to focus on staying cancer-free and returning to public duties when possible.
"Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes," she shared.
"I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can.
"Despite all that has gone before, I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life.
"To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness, can come light, so let that light shine bright."
