Coronation Street is set for another week of high drama as Bethany Platt departs Weatherfield, Betsy Swain's dark secret comes to light and Lauren Bolton receives heartbreaking news about her baby son, Frankie.
Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) approaches Bethany Lucy Fallon) with a job offer from a friend who is the CEO of a cosmetic surgery company. The friend wants someone to write an advertorial about their new facility in Turkey.
Despite initially declining the offer and informing Daniel Osborne (Rob Mallard) about it, he convinces Bethany to reconsider. However, she is taken aback when she sees Daniel and Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) sharing a hug.
After a fruitless shopping trip, Bethany confides in Daisy that none of the swimsuits she tried on were flattering. Daisy then tells a disappointed Ryan that she will be looking after Bertie while Daniel takes Bethany to the airport.
Ryan expresses his desire to spend more time with Daisy and suggests moving in together as a solution. But when Daisy hesitates, Ryan accuses her of still being in love with Daniel, reports the Daily Star.

Could this spell the end for Daisy and Ryan? In another storyline, Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) calls Sabrina Adetiba (Luana Santos) to the precinct and confesses to a serious wrongdoing. An emotional Betsy also reveals her secret to Carla Connor (Alison King).
DS Lisa Swain (Victoria Myers) arrives at the factory where Betsy spills the beans, leading Lisa to insist they head to the police station. But what has Betsy done?
Dee-Dee and Lisa look on in horror as Joel Deering (Calum Lill) serves Carla with a letter commencing slander proceedings against her. Meanwhile, Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) receives a potentially helpful visitor while in hospital.

Max Turner (Paddy Beaver) and Lauren are enjoying breakfast at the cafe when Lauren gets an urgent call from the hospital. Once there, a doctor informs a frightened Lauren that Frankie has had a seizure and is being taken for a scan.
At the hospital, Dee-Dee accompanies Lauren to a meeting with a social worker who explains that she will be under surveillance due to ongoing investigations into her attempted abortion.
