The Perfect Couple, a new addition to Netflix, has quickly climbed to the top of the streaming giant's most-watched list. The murder mystery series features Ishaan Khatter as Shooter Dival, best friend to groom Benji Winbury, played by Billy Howle.
Shooter is a millionaire heir and detectives suspect that Greer Winbury, portrayed by Nicole Kidman, may have taken a loan from him. This has sparked interest in the actor behind the character.
Ishaan Khatter, a 28-year-old Indian actor hailing from a renowned family, is the son of actors Rajesh Khattar and Neelima Azeem. His father, a Bollywood luminary, also comes from a well-known lineage.
His mother, a celebrated classical dancer and writer, is recognised for her roles on Indian television. Ishaan's acting journey began in his childhood with the 2005 film Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!.

The movie featured his half-brother Shahid Kapoor, another successful Indian actor.
Born in Mumbai, Ishaan is the offspring of actors Neelima Azeem and Rajesh Khattar. His half-brother Shahid Kapoor is Azeem's son from her first marriage to actor Pankaj Kapur.
Growing up in a culturally rich household where everyone had a passion for performing arts, it was only natural for him to choose an acting career.
Speaking about his pride in his middle-class values, he told dnaindia.com: "My history is different from the general perception."

The actor, a regular on The Times Most Desirable Men chart and ranked 25th in 2020, declared: "I'm proud of my middle-class background because that's how I've grown up. I have my values and sensibilities."
