The full line-up of pairings won't be announced until Strictly returns on Saturday but it seemingly appears the news has already been "leaked" on social media. Viewers expressed their disappointment at the weekend with one X user forced to delete their tweet over a show "spoiler".
It comes after a Strictly spoiler shared online appeared to reveal 12 out of the 15 Strictly pairings. Famous faces competing for the Glitterball this year include JLS's JB Gill, opera singer Wynne Evans, comedian Chris McCausland and new wave singer Toyah Willcox, as well as Love Island alumnus Tasha Ghouri, EastEnders legend Jamie Borthwick and former England and Arsenal footballer Paul Merson.
Some viewers shared their frustration over the show spoilers on X, as @coppolaandall vented: "If people want to post strictly spoilers can they put a spoiler warning before they tweet? not great for people who don't want to know any pairings or who's on/off the bench."
@AylaxJane agreed: Bring on Strictly 2024!!! Who is everyone rooting for!! (If you know the pairings plz don’t tell me lol)."
@jess_frances_b tweeted: "I'll need to try and stay off here soon because I don't want any spoilers for the #Strictly pairings that will be confirmed by the Launch Show. I'd rather see them on the show when it airs."

@Bluebell432 argued: "Why should I have be the one to mute one of my favourite shows hashtags because some people think they're clever posting spoilers and being inconsiderate. It was the same issue last year with the results #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing."
"It's infuriating. I was looking forward to the #Strictly launch show but now I feel it isn't worth it when you've posted all the names on the TL even if you weren't looking for them #StrictlyComeDancing," another vented.
@ZoeSomebody said: "Just saw a #strictly spoiler comment. Why do people do that?"
However, others appeared excited by the reveal, as @firefeet89 said: "Where the rest? Me ma is busting to know."
Express Online has decided not to reveal any of the celebrity contestants rumoured pairings until the show has aired.
Viewers will not have long to wait as the countdown to the Strictly launch show begins.
This year's run will be the most accessible season of Strictly ever, as it will include the option for live signing, which will be available on BBC iPlayer and through the red button.
Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer on 14th September 2024.
