Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen blasted by jilted wife of Channel 5 star's lover

The estranged wife of the man who became Amanda Owen's lover has endured "two years of hell" as her pals slam the Yorkshire Farm star amid claims she failed to acknowledge the affair.

Amanda and Clive Owen candidly discussed the failure of their marriage and new romances for the first time this week, a revelation that has received widespread acclaim from fans.

They shared that after agreeing to separate, Amanda formed a romantic relationship with their mutual friend and business associate, Rob Davies, and quickly moved in with him.

However, Amanda failed to mention that he was married when the pair began their relationship and his ex-wife feels she has been “written out of the story”.

Yasumi Davies, 57, who abandoned her life in Tokyo to settle in Yorkshire with Davies, was left fuming by Amanda's public recount of events.

Speaking to MailOnline, Yasumi expressed her frustration, stating: "I knew nothing of this and it has made me mad."

She added: "I don't want to discuss it. Our divorce is finalising but not yet finalised."

A close friend of Yasumi shared: "Amanda's explanation of these events appears to conveniently forget that when she began her relationship with Rob he was still a married man. Yasumi is very hurt by what she's read."

The friends argue that Amanda and Clive's version of events has been tailored to enhance their public image, especially in light of their television careers.

The friend further claimed: "It is quite clear that they have constructed a new version of events because they have a TV show to promote and want to get across the best possible version of their story.

“But for her to say that Clive thought Robert was a good match for Amanda is pretty strange considering that he was still married to Yasumi at the time."

The revelation of an alleged affair was a devastating blow to Yasumi, particularly how she discovered it.

The friend detailed: "To discover her husband had been having an affair was devastating, especially in the way she found out - she knew nothing about it until she found a love note to him from Amanda."

This discovery led to Rob leaving Yasumi abruptly to live with Amanda, effectively ending their marriage.

Reflecting on the emotional turmoil Yasumi has endured, the friend shared: "She has been through two years of hell since all this, going through a painful and difficult divorce, and has now been removed from the story completely as far as Amanda Owen is concerned."
