Outlander season 7 part 2 trailer on STARZ

Outlander baddies Geillis Duncan (played by Lotte Verbeck) and Laoghaire MacKenzie (Nell Hudson) have officially returned in brand new stills from the show’s impending return.
The popular Starz drama will finally air more episodes this November and follow Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser’s (Sam Heughan) long-awaited return to Scotland.
Meanwhile, Roger MacKenzie (Richard Rankin) and William Buccleigh ‘Buck’ MacKenzie (Diarmaid Murtagh) head back in time in search of Jemmy, Roger’s son with Brianna Fraser (Sophie Skelton).
Once there they’ll come across some familiar faces, notably Buck’s parents Geillis and Dougal MacKenzie (Graham McTavish).
Their meeting has been teased in a fresh crop of images from the new instalment, and fans were in for a shock when they saw the conniving Geillis looking loved up with the beloved Highlander Dougal.
Stills have been released on the show’s official Instagram this week, while fans also got an expanded look with more pics released via TVInsider.
Many couldn’t contain their excitement, as one exclaimed: “Dougal? Geilis? WHATTT.”
And another wrote: “LAOGHAIRE??? DOUGAL???? GEILIS???? WHATS HAPPENING.”
“Second pic?!?!!? What’s happening??!! Jfkfdkdkfkkf,” another said, referring to the shot of Dougal and Geillis. And another shocked viewer added: “Not Laoghaire agaaaaiiiiinnn.”
Laoghaire and Claire famously detest each other thanks to the former’s infatuation with Claire’s husband Jamie, while Geillis’ antics in previous seasons were a little more nefarious.
Will Roger and William run into similar trouble when they cross paths for the first time in 18th-century Scotland?
Over on Reddit, fans were equally shocked to see Geillis return, considering she died back in season three.
“That isn’t Geillis, is it?” one fan asked. When another replied in the affirmative, they added: “But, but, how can that be! I have read all the books and I swear she doesn’t come back.”
Offering an explanation, someone more familiar with Diana Gabaldon’s novels responded: “She's in Written in My Own Heart’s Blood when Buck and Roger accidentally travel to 1739 (I think that was the date).
“That's when they also meet Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies) and Dougal.”
Tobias has sadly denied any plans to bring him back as Black Jack, telling TVLine “No, you will not see me.”
Has this segment from the books been omitted? Or could Tobias be playing it coy before another villain makes an even more shocking comeback in season seven?
