British TV presenter Noel Edmonds is poised to make a significant return to television with a new series set on his estate in New Zealand.

After what sources described as a "frenzied” ten-month bidding war, Edmonds, best known for his work on Noel’s House Party and Deal or No Deal, signed a £1million deal with ITV, promising a fresh and exciting venture into the world of farming and lifestyle – reminiscent of Jeremy Clarkson hit series, Clarkson’s Farm.

The upcoming three-part series will feature Edmonds managing his expansive vineyards at the 11-hectare River Haven estate, serving drinks in his 17th-century pub, and operating a unique "positivity" radio station that broadcasts to plants and pets.

A source close to the production shared their enthusiasm about the project, telling The Sun: "Noel’s incredible — and very eccentric — life is going to make TV gold.

"New Zealand is still struggling with the after-effects of their draconian lockdown laws and execs are hoping that Noel will do for tourism what Jeremy has done for British farming.”

For Noel, this new series is more than just a television project; it's a continuation of his vibrant career.

"For his part, Noel would like the world to know he hasn’t retired, and this chapter of his life is a new adventure," they continued.

The enthusiasm around this series is palpable among industry insiders, with one noting: "There was a feeding frenzy from production companies to secure the rights, and everyone knows this could be a huge comeback for Noel.”

Produced by Potato, known for their work on The Chase and Ninja Warrior, the series is provisionally titled "Noel’s Haven" and is slated to air late next year.

Edmonds’ transition to New Zealand has been marked by significant investment, with him and his wife Liz spending £20million on 12 properties in the remote village of Ngatimoti, which has not been without its controversies, as locals have accused him of “colonising” the village.

Edmonds has been a staple of British television and last appeared on the small screen in 2018's I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!

Provisionally entitled Noel’s Haven, it is likely to air late next year and comes after Clarkson’s Farm broke Amazon Prime records.

The Deal or No Deal star moved to New Zealand in 2019. He recently came under fire for allegedly firing 17 staff at his winery and pub with just a day’s notice.

Workers at the star’s River Haven winery were said to have been “blindsided” when Edmonds terminated their employment out of the blue after deciding to shut up shop for winter.
