Beyond Paradise will air some dramatic scenes in its new series - as filming gets underway.
Kris Marshall and Zahra Ahmadi will be back to reprise their roles as DI Humphrey Goodman and DS Esther Williams for the brand-new series, which will see them solve more crimes in the fictional town of Shipton Abbott.
However, eagle-eyed fans have already spotted a spoiler for the new series after seeing filming taking place on the grounds of Pentillie Castle near St Mellion, between Callington and Saltash. A Devon pub will be front and centre of a dramatic car crash sequence, which ends up in the vehicle landing in the River Tamar

A spokesperson for the Royal Inn, Horsebridge has given fans a clue on what they can expect from the new series, after spotting a car 'crash' through the bridge railings and into the river.
They told the Tavistock Times Gazette, who obtained a photo of the scene: "They filmed a car crash with a car crashing through the railings, which they replaced coming from the opposite bank to us on the Cornwall side. Then they filmed a farmer rescuing the car from the river. But we couldn’t see which actors were involved because we were kept too far away by the film crew."
Whatever happens, there will no doubt be another dramatic set of cases for Esther, Humphrey, and the team to solve in the Death In Paradise spin-off. Sally Bretton is also expected to return as Martha.
Tim Key, executive producer for Red Planet Pictures, promised more laughs in the upcoming BBC series.
"The response to series two has been fantastic. So much love goes into the making of the show and we're delighted that the audience have enjoyed it so much.
"We can't wait to return to Shipton Abbott for another Christmas special and series to continue the story and learn more about our characters and the town they live in - I can promise that we'll be making the viewers laugh, cry, laugh a bit more and then baffling them with a series of ingenious puzzles. There will also be a duck," he said.
