Angela Rayner slammed by GB News star for Ibiza trip during Starmer disaster

The Deputy Prime Minister, Angela Rayner faced fierce criticism after she was filmed dancing behind the DJ decks and partying with Ibiza revellers.

In the viral clip, the politician could be seen singing, jumping across the stage, while wearing headphones and encouraging the crowd of partygoers.

Despite the night’s excitement, Angela was quickly inundated with backlash by GB News star Paula London, who slammed her actions away from Downing Street.

The broadcaster re-shared the video and fumed: “This is our deputy prime minister… I’m embarrassed to be British right now.”

Responding to a comment which compared the politician to Theresa May, Paula protested: “Angela has taken it down another level.

“Raving in a DJ booth is NOT where our deputy prime minister should be. She is making a mockery out of the UK,” she added.

After @HumanBe71720200 commented: “I am no fan, but people can have a good time.....Can they not?” Paula hit back with fury.

She stated: “Dancing in front of a crowd of high revellers in Ibiza in the early hours of the morning is not how a deputy prime minister should behave. She has no manners or decorum.”

The rage continued as @ceidwadol responded: “It's a woman having fun I don't see an issue.”

Paula answered: “It’s not parliamentary behaviour. She is in Ibiza which is synonymous for drugs too.”

Others including @HenryNewman also came into her defence and shared: “I’m glad @AngelaRayner is having fun Politicians should take time off and let their hair down.”

This comes after Keir Starmer's controversial speech on Tuesday about the upcoming Government plans.

The Prime Minister stated that the tax and spending plans would be “painful” with potential increases in inheritance tax, capital gains tax, or reforming tax relief on pensions.

There was also backlash after he confirmed the withdrawal of winter fuel payments which 10 million pensioners in England and Wales receive.
