Linda Nolan has opened up about the severe impact of her cancer treatment, revealing she struggles to walk in the mornings and has lost teeth.

She also revealed her step-son has also been diagnosed with cancer in another devastating update. She said: "We have had a rough time with it and my stepson Lloyd has just been diagnosed and it's like 'go away!"'

The courageous singer from The Nolan Sisters shared her health struggles during a heartfelt interview on Good Morning Britain with presenters Richard Madeley and Kate Garraway. Linda, who was first diagnosed with breast cancer back in 2005 and later went into remission, is now facing the disease once more as it has tragically spread to her bones, brain, and liver.

During the emotional segment, Kate relayed a poignant message from Linda, stating: "You always want us to say and by the way, we never notice this but you always want us to say that some of your treatment and your illness might make you stutter over a word or something."

"You never do, but you want us to say in case people wonder!"

Highlighting the physical toll of her condition, Linda showed viewers the gap in her smile where a front tooth had fallen out, saying with a mix of bravery and humour: "Look, I've lost a tooth! ", reports the Mirror.

As Kate asked her how she was feeling, Linda admitted: "Well, it's early. I'm so jittery in the morning, I get so jittery I can hardly walk. So I have to sit in the bed for 10 minutes and get my legs working, and then go downstairs and do whatever.

"I try and get out a lot, get fresh air and spend time with my friends and my family. They're always there – especially my sister Denise. I'm living with [Denise and husband Tom Anderson] and I shouted out in the kitchen the other day, 'Do you want anything?' and she said, 'Yes, leave!'"

She continued: "They've put me on another chemo where I might lose my hair for the fifth time.

"It's a weird feeling. I was quite up because they said they could treat me – they could have said, 'There's nothing more we can do for you'.

"One of my sisters gets the short straw and comes with me on results day, then we all meet in the café for lunch if the news is good, and if it's bad we just go home and have a cup of tea."

GMB airs weekdays at 6am on ITV1.
