Roman Kemp avoids question about him dancing in heels

Friday's The One Show treated viewers to a marvellous line-up with hosts Alex Jones and Roman Kemp inviting esteemed actor Chiwetel Ejiofor and Vick Hope onto their renowned green sofa.

Chiwetel delved into details about his latest cinematic venture, Rob Peace, while Vick enlightened audiences about her new thrilling BBC series Made in Korea: The K-Pop Experience. Amidst the conversation about the intensive training for British stars in Made in Korea, which is currently gripping viewers on the BBC, Roman probed into Chiwetel's experience in Kinky Boots.

He said: "Talking about dance training as well, Chiwetel, got to mention it, Kinky Boots. You were put through your paces, you did a lot." While a snapshot of the movie aired, Roman observed: "We see you here dancing in heels. That takes a lot of training. Was it hard?"

Chiwetel shared: "That did take a lot of training actually. I found it incredibly dangerous. That's the one thing that the K-Pop doesn't have, the danger level I was experiencing with the four, five and half inch heels."

Alex then playfully remarked to Roman: "Funnily enough, you've also done that," only for him to quip back quickly: "I have done that but we won't talk about it."

Undeterred, Alex deftly switched gears and chatted with Vick about her pal Billy Monger, while Roman was evidently eager to drop the topic, reports Wales Online.

Meanwhile, The One Show is bracing for a significant presenter reshuffle after news broke out that Jermaine Jenas was relieved from his duties due to workplace conduct issues. A statement from the BBC on Thursday 22 August clarified: "We can confirm Jermaine Jenas is no longer part of our presenting line-up."
