Riverdale: Final episode promo
Riverdale star Gina Gershon is all set to star in The Designer, a brand new body horror film which has been written and directed by Em Johnson.
The film also stars Dinner in America's Katherine Waddell, Wicked star Ethan Slater and Queer as Folk star Jesse James Kietel. The movie focuses on Gerry (played by Katherine) who joins the huge marketing company Kismetta in a bid to find her identity.
What ensues is a world of chaos as the character "succumbs to her own delusional identity", Deadline reports. As well as the four actors, The Designer also features Michelle Hurd, Annie Golden, Jessica Belkin and Gwendoline Yeo.
As well as starring in the film, Katherine is also producing it alongside co-producers Jiarui Guo and Warner Davis. It's also a joint production with Incandescent Entertainment, First Bloom Films and Hemlock Circle Productions.
Actress and singer Gina had a recurring role in the teen drama Riverdale on Netflix and starred as Jughead Jones' mum Gladys Jones. She's had an extensive career across film, television, music and theatre since making her debut in the industry in 1986.

She's appeared in some big films over her career, including P.S. I Love You with Gerard Butler, the 2018 version of The Little Mermaid and most recently, the slasher thriller film Thanksgiving.
Gina recently starred in science fiction action comedy film Borderlands as Mad Moxxi alongside an impressive cast consisting of Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Jamie Lee Curtis to name a few.
The movie is Eli Roth's adaptation of the hit video game for Lionsgate, which is an action role-playing first-person shooter game that first released back in 2009.
As well as The Designer, Gina will also star in comedy film Tapawingo which had it's premiere at the Virginia Film Festival in October.

She's also been confirmed to act in dark comedy The Trainer alongside Stephen Dorff, John McEnroe and Luke Sabbat.
Interestingly, the film is currently in post-production after nearly a decade in development, with a release date yet to be revealed.
It will also star Julia Fox, Steven Van Zandt and Taylour Paige, although details about their involvement are yet to be unveiled.
The Designer is yet to be given a release date.
