Paddy McGuinness on Freddie Flintoff's return to TV
TV legend Paddy McGuinness recently spoke about his pal and ex-Top Gear colleague, Freddie Flintoff, as he makes a triumphant return to television following his grievous mishap in December 2022.
The airwaves buzzed with anticipation as the second series of Freddie Flintoff's Field of Dreams returned as fans were eager to see the 46 year old back in action.
As they concluded their chat, Kate Garraway remarked: "Obviously, you must be delighted to see Freddie back and better and well?"
Paddy quickly expressed his joy at Freddie's comeback, stating: "Yeah, bless him."
Elaborating on their close connection, he continued: "When we did Top Gear, we're that close you're together all of the time. You're going around the world and everything else you have a real bond. Seeing him do stuff like that again, you're like, 'Glad he's getting sort of back into it and back at it."

Adil Ray joined in the sentiment, saying: "Absolutely, we all want to see that."
Freddie's shocking accident occurred while filming for the BBC, resulting in the former cricket star and another crew member being flipped and dragged along the track in an open-topped tri-wheeled vehicle, reports the Mirror.
Reaching speeds of up to 130mph when the disaster struck, Flintoff suffered severe injuries, necessitating a prolonged absence from the public eye and work as he recuperated.
With the introduction of his documentary's new series, viewers of the BBC witnessed Freddie discussing the harrowing event for the very first time.
In a heart-rending documentary, Freddie confessed he was battling to leave his house after the trauma of an accident induced crippling anxiety. He candidly shared: "I thought I could just shake it off. I wanted to shake it off and say 'everything's all right', but it's not been the case."
He continued, revealing the extent of his struggles: "It's been a lot harder than I thought. As much as I wanted to go out and do things, I've just not been able to. I struggle with anxiety.
"I have nightmares, I have flashbacks. It's been so hard to cope with."
