TV judge Rob Rinder left both the studio and audiences at home both stunned and amused after offering up a brutal verdict on the latest episode of BBC’s Saturday Kitchen.
Host Matt Tebbutt was joined by chefs Anthony Murphy and Ravneet Gill, and by special guest Rob Rinder. As drinks expert Helen McGinn engaged with the panel, she began to show off some wine cocktails she had created to go with the studio dishes.
But Rob was in no mood to beat around the bush and gave numerous brutally honest opinions on the cockatils.
One froze wine cocktail in particular sparked chaos on social media, with Rob spewing: “If Peppa Pig was an alcoholic, this is what she’d drink.”
Laughter could be heard coming from the studio gallery and well as the hosts and fellow show cast members.
He also offered up this comment to a cocktail that included cranberry juice: “I’m glad you’ve cured my cystitis.”
Fans were equally as amused by the star’s blunt assessment of the drinks, taking to social media to praise his honesty.
“Loved today's show as always. But Rob Rinder is one of the best guests ever. His honesty made me laugh so much,” gushed one fan.
“Rob Rinder being honest about cr*p drinks is excellent Saturday morning tv,” penned a second.

“Absolutely hilarious! I think Rob Rinder is my favourite guest.. He's articulate, funny, interesting and entertaining,” another fan penned.
Others even pleaded with the network to hire him as an official part of the show moving forward.
“Can we have Rob Rinder on every time please.”
The show’s panel wasn’t quite so popular last week, however. viewers were opting for James Martin's programme on ITV instead in response to the show's tweet, which read: "This is your 5 minute warning! There's a Spice Girl in the house! We're ready to Spice Up Your Life on #SaturdayKitchen with @matt_tebbutt, @knackeredmutha , #HasanSemay, @Adambyatt , @NiklasEkstedt and the one and only @OfficialMelB ! ".
Another viewer commented: "#saturdaykitchen oh, it's these two chefs again. And the wine woman."
However, not all feedback was negative, as other fans were quick to defend the show.
One fan eagerly posted: "Saturday kitchen completes my week Love it can't wait spice up my Saturday! ".
