How many episodes are in We Might Regret This?

A new TV comedy series with a twist will air on BBC this week. We Might Regret This focuses on a tetraplegic artist named Freya who moves to London with her partner Abe and her 24-hour live-in carer.

Because of Freya’s disability, living together also includes personal assistants, who are always there - a third person in earshot for every romantic moment and domestic screaming match. Freya is unable to find the right person to be a PA and instead invites her chaotic and impulsive best friend Jo to take the job.

The series stars Kyla Harris as Freya, The Outlaws and Spy star, Darren Boyd as Abe, Industry actress Elena Saurel as Jo, Raised by Wolves' Aasiya Shah and comedy actress Sally Phillips.

The story is inspired by the lived experience of co-writers Kyla Harris and Lee Getty and Lee's time as Harris' PA in real life. Early reviews have praised the series, with some noting the show upends the usual telly tropes about disabled women’s lives.

There are six episodes in We Might Regret This, which will air its first episode at 10pm on Monday, August 19 on BBC Two. The following episodes will air weekly at the same time slot.
