Cameron Walker says Harry is 'not a priority' to Prince William

Prince William's view on his brother has been summed up in a brutal three-word verdict by an expert. Recent reports have claimed that the Prince of Wales, 42, has no plans to invite Prince Harry to his coronation when the time comes.

Although they used to share a close bond, it is believed the brothers are "estranged", having not spoken in nearly two years. "This year his focus has very much been on his wife, his children and his father. His brother isn't really something that's discussed," a source close to William told The Sunday Times.

During Monday's instalment of GB News, hosted by Isabel Webster and Nana Akua, Cameron Walker discussed reports that William does not want Harry, 39, by his side when he is crowned King.

Referencing the quotes made by Prince William's close friend, Cameron explained: "A key theme of that particular article was that there is really not much of a relationship between Prince William and Harry."

He continued: "I know whenever I speak to people close to Prince William, the barriers go up when I mention his brother, the Duke of Sussex. They're not on speaking terms.

"It is understood the last time they did speak was at the Queen's funeral back in September 2022 and then it was very brief indeed." Cameron agreed with Isabel's claim that William's focus has been on other aspects of his life, since both his wife and the King were diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.

He continued: "The King is still receiving cancer treatment, the Princess of Wales is in a very similar situation. He has three young children to think about, he's the heir to the throne."

Cameron said Harry is "not a priority" for his brother, adding: "Perhaps that's very sad but I suppose we will just have to wait and see if time plays any part in any kind of reconciliation between the brothers."

Harry and Meghan reportedly learned of Kate's diagnosis at the same time as the general public, when she shared a moving video from her Windsor home revealing that she had cancer.

A source close to Harry said they reached out privately to Kate, 42, and William, however, they received no response. After turning his back on the royal family and moving to California with his wife Meghan Markle in 2020, Harry published bombshell revelations about those closest to him in his tell-all memoir, Spare.

Opening up about Harry's fractured relationship with his family, a friend of King Charles said: "The problem for the King and other members of the family is the worry that if they have a chat with Harry, it will appear in ‘Spare’ volume two. How do you regain the trust? I don’t think Harry ever can."

They continued: "But from the conversations I’ve had with the King, I would never say their relationship is irreparable. The King’s capacity to forgive his son is undimmed. There are other members of the royal family who are much more weighted against Harry, that’s the problem."
