Emmerdale: Tom spies on Belle via a secret camera
Emmerdale viewers are certain that Tom King is on the brink of being exposed after a significant error he made while assaulting Piper, the dog.
The malicious villager, played by James Chase, has been tormenting and manipulating his wife Belle Dingle, portrayed by Eden Taylor-Draper, for an extended period. However, Belle recently managed to escape his clutches and declared their marriage over.
Despite their separation, Tom has been attempting to win her back with numerous grand gestures, all while Belle remains oblivious to the fact that Tom has secretly installed cameras in her home to monitor her every move.
In Friday's episode (August 16), the nefarious Tom stooped to new depths when he attacked Belle's cherished dog, Piper. After being asked to leave a family gathering by Belle, Tom later drove to Wishing Well Cottage where he spotted the innocent Piper.
In a distressing scene, he then drove his car towards the dog. At the end of the episode, a panicked Tom was seen rushing back to the village with Piper wrapped in a blanket, feigning concern for the dog he had just hit with his car.
As he left the pub, Belle saw Tom, who vowed to do everything possible to save Piper.
However, viewers are convinced that Tom will be exposed following his horrific attack, due to a glaring "mistake" he made, reports the Manchester Evening News.
On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one viewer suggested that nearby CCTV could have recorded him hitting the dog.

One viewer speculated, writing: "Seeing as Wishing Well Cottage is next door to Eric's house, could his doorbell camera have captured Tom's most vile and cruellest act? Certainly hope so, although a horrible experience for Eric and Brenda if they check the footage." (sic)
Another agreed, commenting: "What a good thought." Meanwhile, a third contributor suggested: "Yes! It would show Tom was the one that run her over." (sic)
