Emma Willis jokingly admitted husband Matt made her feel "really bad" at her job during the filming of Love Is Blind: UK.

The Busted star and the ex-Big Brother host teamed up for the first time on the British adaptation of the hit reality dating series. While 41-year-old Matt has previously presented a documentary about his struggles with addiction, this marked his debut as a TV show host.

Matt's acting experience, which includes roles in BBC's EastEnders and the comedy Birds of a Feather, came in handy on set, according to Emma's chat with Woman's Health. The 48-year-old presenter admitted feeling outshone by Matt's meticulous script preparation.

She said: "He made me feel really bad at my job because he learned his scripts verbatim. He was like 'yeah, I know my lines' and I was like 'er, can you give me five minutes'."

Discussing their dynamic on the show, Emma described Matt as a "bit of a d*** in the best possible way", adding that this is why they "worked really well together".

Love Is Blind: UK, which dropped on Netflix last week, features singles dating unseen through frosted glass "pods". Audiences watch as romances either bloom or bust before the couples get engaged and meet face-to-face for the first time, reports the Mirror.

Following the engagement, they spend a month navigating life as a couple, including meeting each other's friends and family. That leads up to their actual wedding where they choose to say "I do" or potentially "I don't".

Emma and Matt Willis marked their 16th wedding anniversary in July, yet the Busted musician has admitted to the Daily Mail that he doubts they would have hit it off in a 'Love Is Blind' scenario.

He confessed: "I would feel so pressured to say the right thing that I would say something stupid and regret it massively."

Emma, on the other hand, begs to differ, insisting that Matt's charm is undeniable and expressing her firm belief that his "most charismatic person" qualities would have captivated her regardless of any screen between them.
