Sam Heughan reveals the souvenir he'll take from Outlander set

Outlander’s Tobias Menzies has opened up on the idea of him returning for the final season of the time-travelling drama.
The Crown alum Tobias Menzies had two integral roles in Outlander with his final appearance in a season four episode in the form of a flashback of mild-mannered Frank Randall.
While Starz and MGM+ subscribers have a soft spot for Frank, it’s a completely different story for Menzies's other character Black Jack Randall, who tortured and raped Jamie Fraser (played by Sam Heughan) in the first season.
Both of the characters died with Frank dying in a fatal accident with Black Jack killed at the hands of Jamie during the Battle of Culloden.
While Frank and Black Jack are no more, this hasn’t stopped fans wondering if he will return for the final eighth series, which is predicted to come out in late 2025.
Sadly, even though viewers would like to see Menzies return to finish off the drama, there are no plans for him to feature in the remaining episodes according to the man himself.
He told TV Line: "What am I allowed to say? It would be great.
“[But] no, you will not see me. They're going to bring it home magnificently, I'm sure."
Before fans can get excited about how the story will be wrapped up for good, there is still the second half of season seven to come.
It’s been revealed that Outlander will return for season seven part two on Friday, November 22.
Executive producer Maril Davis told Digital Spy that it is to be “even more exciting” than the first half of the seventh outing.
She explained: "The second half does not give you time to breathe.
"There are so many ups and down for everyone and so many life moments. I can't even put it into words – the second half is going to be even crazier than the first."
Outlander is available to watch on Starz and MGM+ Prime Video Channels.
