Lisa Hogan announces some new arrivals to Diddly Squat Farm

Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat Farm Shop has urged Clarkson's Farm fans to "stay vigilant" after being made aware of certain scams. While the former Top Gear host opens up his land to allow the public to buy produce from his shop, which features on Amazon Prime, he never offers meet and greets.

The TV presenter had to reiterate the facts of what services he does and does not offer at his farm as con artists had been targeting his fans and followers. Posting to the shop's official Instagram account, accompanied by an image of a spider web, the Clarkson's Farm team warned: "Avoid getting tangled in online scams!

"Unfortunately, we’ve recently heard about some individuals who have been tricked by scammers posing as our show cast and farm staff on the internet and social media. Please note: Diddly Squat does not offer farm tours or meet-and-greet sessions in exchange for money."

The post issued a stern message, adding: "Stay vigilant and don’t let scammers take advantage of you!" Despite the warning, some fans actually thought the idea, which had come from the scammers, was a good one.

In the comments, one disappointed fan wrote: "Awww a meet and greet would be cool or an extra when you're filming at the shop."

"Maybe in the future farm tours will be offered when there is a period of rest for the main cast," another added before a third said: "Still sad that you guys don't do meet and greets on the farm! You'd get a great turnout."

Jeremy's fans love to get involved with what's going on at his iconic farm. Recently the Amazon Prime star responded after a fan went one step further than most and transformed the presenter into a scarecrow.

Instagram user Nicola Myers posted from Tipperary in Ireland as she explained she had entered Jeremy into a local competition. She shared a picture of a very uncanny scarecrow, with the former Top Gear presenters face attached to it, complete with a black wooly hat.

Captioning the post, Nicola wrote: "@jeremyclarkson1 @itsclarksonsfarm @diddlysquat.farmshop the girls are back… Just entered you into a local scarecrow competition in Ireland hope you don’t mind."

While Jeremy didn't respond with a comment, he and the Clarkson's Farm team shared their "approval" of the scarecrow and accompanying lambs.

The Diddly Squat Farm Shop official Instagram account 'liked' the fan's post, before sharing it to their Stories accompanied by a GIF of clapping hands, indicating a "well done".
