Emmerdale's Oliver Farnworth has teased his future on the ITV soap just hours after his on-screen debut as John Sugden.
It was confirmed earlier this year that the Sugden family was extending with Victoria Sugden set to come face-to-face with an estranged relative.
After making his debut during Wednesday's (August 7) episode, Oliver appeared on ITV's Lorraine on Thursday (August 8) to chat to host Christine Lampard about what fans can expect from his character.
"We find out quite a lot about him quite early on but there's a a really enigmatic side to him aswell and I've bene filming for two months now and there'sa lot of stuff I can't talk about now but it's an absolute rollercoaster."
As Christine pointed out that he's been filming for two months, Oliver teased: "There's a lot to come" and that John will find himself "slap bang in the middle of the Sugden and Dingle drama".

The Sugdens are one of the biggest families in the Dales but they have dwindled over the years, with Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) the only one really left in the village. Soon, though, she won't be alone for long.
John is set to cause chaos when he arrives in the Dales very soon but what will happen when he meets his half sister Victoria? Previously speaking to The Mirror and other press, he teased: "I've been here a few weeks now, and it's just been a dream.
"It really is going right into the deep end with the character. He's got a pretty amazing backstory. Obviously half brother to Victoria, which we find out quite quickly, but there's a whole lot of depth to him and little bits just kind of coming out now, but it's been a whirlwind."

Insisting John would get involved in a lot of aspects of the village when he arrives on screen, Oliver, who is in a relationship with EastEnders legend Samantha Womack added: "I've been here, there and everywhere. I've been on all sets, been on location and driving vans, been getting up to all sorts of mischief. It's been absolutely brilliant and I’ve been really welcomed by everyone as well. It's been so nice."
Of his character, he shared: "He’s enigmatic really. There's there's a lot to him. I'm still finding stuff out about him. We find out quite quickly that he's got a military past. He's openly gay. He is very much a lone wolf. I think over the years, he's really put walls up and not let anyone in. And that's his kind of method of self preservation. He doesn't like people getting close to him."
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm and Lorraine airs weekdays on ITV1 at 9am
