The BBC have finally confirmed just when Celebrity Masterchef will be back on our screens and fans don't have long to wait. The next series will premiere on BBC One on Tuesday 12 August at 8pm and if that wasn't enough, it will be followed by a second episode on Thursday and a third offering on Friday.
The cooking competition will be on air for six weeks with three weekly episodes as the famous faces show off their culinary skills for judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace.
The 20 celebrities were unveiled back in June and the line-up is nothing short of spectacular with reality stars, television presenters, singers and comedians donning the famous Masterchef aprons.
Taking to the kitchen are reality star Charlotte Crosby, Love Island alumni Chloe Burrows, model and TV personality Christine McGuinness and This Morning presenter Craig Doyle.
Also appearing on the series are EastEnders star Danielle Harold, The Traitors' Diane Carson, make-up artist Dominic Skinner and radio presenter Edith Bowman.
Model Emma Thynn, comedian Eshaan Akbar, Gladiators star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and Steps singer Ian 'H' Watkins' will also be hoping to impress the judges.
X Factor star Jake Quickenden, comedian Jamie MacDonald, Sugababes singer Mutya Buena and BBC radio 2 DJ OJ Borg were the next to be announced.
Rounding out the epic line-up are actress Rochenda Sandall, I'm A Celebrity star Snoochie Shy, actor Tamer Hassan and Strictly Come Dancing professional Vito Coppola.
Sarah Clay, Commissioning Editor for the BBC, teased at the time of the announcement: "The standard of this competition gets higher every year, so expect lots of laughs and some fierce rivalry as we’re set for some of the hardest challenges yet.
"These celebs are a brave brunch and are taking us on a brilliant ride - all in the trusty hands of our distinguished judges, John and Gregg."
The last series saw opera singer Wynne Evans, Emmerdale's Amy Walsh and Love Island star Luca Bish make it to the final after six weeks of gruelling challenges.
As the three delivered their best dishes in a close final, ultimately John and Gregg decided Wynne as the winner as he lifted the coveted trophy and went home with the title of Masterchef champion.
Celebrity Masterchef will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Tuesday 12 August at 8pm.
