Loose Women audience members get engaged
A daring Loose Women audience member had quite the gutsy moment on Monday, shouting out a cheeky comment at Janet Street-Porter during the live broadcast.
On July 29, 2024, Sunetra Sarker took charge of ITV's hit daytime programme, joined by Judi Love, Denise Welch, and the ever-outspoken Janet Street-Porter. The panel delved into a spirited debate about the benefits of taking breaks in relationships, pondering if time apart is the secret to long-lasting love much like the tactic once employed by Prince William and Kate Middleton in their early days.
As the conversation flowed, 77-year-old Janet shared a candid slice of her own history revealing that she hasn't always been the perfect partner. She recounted one cringe-worthy blunder from her past, involving a mix-up between her boyfriend at the bar and her then-husband seating quietly across the room.
Janet regaled the tale with her typical flair: "I went in and there was my boyfriend waiting in the bar", pausing for dramatic effect before confessing, "I rushed up and slung my arms around his neck and as I looked over, I saw my husband, sitting". But the twist in her tale came with her next revelation: "I ran straight out and inexplicably got in a car boot but I don't know quite why."
Reflecting on the aftermath, Janet remarked that this particular husband was "one of the ones" who chose to forgive her antics. Denise chimed in with a witty jab, saying: "Well, you must be good at something Janet," reports the Mirror.
Refusing to kiss and tell, Janet kept silent beyond a mischievous grin, which prompted a bold quip from the crowd: "Is that why you've got a dodgy hip?"
Sunetra swiftly offered an apology, confessing: "I can only apologise! The audience are joining in today."
Judi Love couldn't contain her amusement at the situation, but eventually, the panel reverted to business as usual, with comedian Jason Manford sharing his experiences of "dad guilt."

Amid these shenanigans, Kaye Adams was notably absent from her usual spot on the set after informing her Instagram followers that she was feeling under the weather. At 61, Kaye was poised to resume her role as a host on BBC Radio Scotland come Monday morning.
Perched outdoors, presumably in her garden on Sunday, July 28, Kaye uploaded a video sharing her frustration: "Well I was really looking forward to getting back onto the radio tomorrow morning, but unfortunately I woke up sounding as if I had been eating woodbine all night."
She followed up with: "So, sadly not to be. I'm mainlining Jakemans so hopefully it'll get better over the next couple of days."
