Wicked enthusiasts are in for a treat as they've been given an exclusive sneak peek at the film's awe-inspiring set before it hits the silver screen.
The star-studded cast featuring Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, and Michelle Yeoh, will grace cinemas in the much-anticipated adaptation of the beloved musical.
Helmed by Jon M.Chu, the movie delves into the untold tales of Oz's witches, linking back to the iconic 1939 The Wizard of Oz.
The tantalising teaser, titled Building The World of Wicked, premiered on YouTube this Wednesday (July 24), unveiling the stunningly crafted world of Oz. Viewers can marvel at the intricate creation of Emerald City and Munchkinland, while M.Chu revealed an astonishing nine million tulips were cultivated for the set.
The featurette also showcases a colossal green train so heavy that relocating it is a two-day affair, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Director M. Chu shares his vision in the clip: "We knew we wanted Wicked to be immersive... If you want to be inside that world, you've got to build it."
Stars Erivo and Grande chime in, expressing their delight at being part of such a magical production.
The fanbase has been quick to express their amazement at the elaborate details, with the 'nine million tulips' fact leaving many astounded. One viewer exclaimed: "This has to be the most highest budget I've ever seen because even the million tulips and train is REAL WHAT?!!"
Another confessed: "my jaw is on the floor, even the train is real", while another pleaded: "Come On Universal Change the release date again for us we can't contain our collective excitement for much longer".

Once Wicked hits the big screen, fans can anticipate its sequel - Wicked Part Two - slated for release on November 28, 2025. But for now, pencil in November 22, when Wicked premieres in UK cinemas.
