Nadia Sawalha struggles to find information on Loose Women

Nadia Sawalha, the Loose Women favourite, admitted her struggles with the hosting duties on the popular ITV show exclaiming, "I'm not very good at this!" as she endeavoured to hold the reins in the absence of mainstays such as Charlene White and Jane Moore.

Temporarily promoted from her usual role as a panelist, Nadia had the task of transitioning between segments while battling with cue cards and timings, confessing to viewers while shuffling papers, "I never know where my cards are!"

The episode was punctuated by a discussion regarding the Just Stop Oil protestors' five-year prison sentences. An incensed Nadia revealed her own reaction: "When I saw that sentence today, do you know what, I was actually furious."

She highlighted inconsistencies in the justice system, particularly when compared to lighter sentencing for heinous crimes, stating emphatically: "When you think we have sentences for people found with child pornography, sexual assault, that get sentences way below that. The maximum you can get at the moment wait for this, girls, you might be really subjects for stalking..."

In a scene of disarray, Nadia frantically searched for her notes to no avail, tossing papers in a frenzied attempt to locate the right information, reports the Mirror.

Nevertheless, vehemence and chaos resonated with viewers, as social media reactions varied; one spectator voiced support on Twitter: "Nadia is such a chaotic #LooseWomen anchor and I'm here for it. She should do it more often."

Another viewer was less forgiving, bluntly stating, "Nadia is sh** at being anchor."

Opinions also diverged on the protest topic, with a commenter challenging Nadia's stance: "Nadia is wrong Just Stop Oil are not saving the planet. They are a bunch of selfish idiots!"

Nadia, along with 31 other women, took part in a topless protest in Westminster back in June, demanding the approval of the "life-extending" cancer drug Enhertu. Each woman represented one of the 31 lives lost daily to secondary breast cancer in the UK.

They stripped topless and painted their breasts bright pink in support of their friend Hannah Gardner, who is battling incurable breast cancer. Speaking to The Mirror, Nadia said: "Our message to the decision-makers is: 'You have the power. Let's see it. Show us you care because this could be your mother, your sister, your daughter.'"

She continued: "For many of these women, it will be too late now, but what about the generations to come? We need to ensure that the next time a breakthrough drug for breast cancer emerges, there is a memory of what happens when you mess with women. We've seen women in bras before, but nothing like this. Nobody wants to get their t*ts out, but we need to be seen and heard."
