Cobra Kai fans are enjoying the first episodes of the concluding season which released on Netflx today (July 18). But fans have also been treated to a surprise 'bonus episode' along with a major show announcement.
The beloved martial arts comedy-drama series, which serves as a continuation of the iconic Karate Kid movies, made its debut in 2018. Now approaching its final bow, the sixth season is set to unfold in three parts over several months.
It's been two years since Cobra Kai graced our screens with its fifth chapter. However, today marked an unexpected delight for fans as they discovered the second part would be arriving ahead of schedule.
Initially scheduled for a Thursday, November 28 release, the star-studded ensemble revealed through a fresh video styled like a mini episode that it will now premiere two weeks prior, on Friday, November 15.
A snappy 36-second clip, available for viewing below, was shared across social media platforms today. It features Jacob Bertrand as Eli Moskowitz, Xolo Mariduena as Miguel Diaz, and Gianni DeCenzo as Demetri Alexopoulos discussing the launch dates for the initial two segments of the sixth season, reports the Manchester Evening News.

The trio joyously confirm the early release of the second part, breaking into dance and celebration in the playful footage. Fans were understandably thrilled by the announcement.
Over on X, previously known as Twitter, @jazzy_j_97 exclaimed: "BEST NEWS EVER!" while @DilanAltA7X posted:"What! Amazing." @CobraKaiFan24 expressed their excitement with: "Let's gooooooo!" and @KristopheRL509 couldn't hide their anticipation, commenting: "Bro I can't wait for this season!".
Series five witnessed Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang join forces to confront Silver's version of Cobra Kai. In the season finale, Silver's activities were laid bare, leading his former students to turn against him.
This has left his and dojo's status in doubt as we head into series six, but it appears that while Silver may be out, the Cobra Kai dojo might not be permanently gone.
Regarding the third and final part of season six, Netflix has remained tight-lipped about the release date, only hinting that it will be sometime in 2025. If the interval between the first two parts is any indication, we could anticipate the final part of Cobra Kai season six around March 2025.
Cobra Kai series six part one is available to stream on Netflix now. Part two is expected on November 15.
