Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley officially joined the This Morning line-up earlier this year after stepping in to replace Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
Ben was already being lined-up to replace Schofield alongside Holly, but once Holly quit the show back in October ITV bosses were on the hunt for a new line-up entirely.
Since the pair stepped in to fill the former hosts’ shoes, reviews have been mixed, but their fellow co-star is nothing short of impressed with them.
DJ and TV personality Ashley James exclusively spoke to Express.co.uk at the Carmex Summer Party and declared she “loves” the pair.

She said: “I love This Morning, Ben and Cat are amazing. You can just tell they are so genuinely nice.
“I’ve known Ben a long time. I never knew Cat but I remember watching her as a young child. But they are so nice.
“At This Morning they’ll come into the green room and the makeup room and have conversations with anyone, it doesn’t matter. You can tell when people are paid to do it and when they’re genuinely nice people.”
Ashley appears on the show on a somewhat regular basis to join in with debates with her fellow co-stars, but she said it’s all love behind the scenes.

Despite talking about a lot of challenging topics, Ashley added: “I come from a family where we have very different views. The north/south divide, class division, different political views, I think [these debates] reflect modern day life.
“It allows these conversations in a non-aggressive way. It’s really hard when those close to you have very different opinions, especially on things people are very passionate about.
“I think it’s a really welcoming sofa to be on and very reflective of society.”
This Morning welcomes a wave of people with different views on the show, which can often cause debate online too. However, the presenters have always tried to keep it light, welcoming a more fun-filled panel on a Friday, alongside activities for viewers at home to get involved in too.
