A die-hard fan of Death in Paradise has excitedly shared some behind-the-scenes snaps from on set and hinted that filming for the Christmas special was complete - while another fan seemed to confirm the return of two beloved characters.
The fan shared a series of snaps on a Death in Paradise Facebook group that showed Catherine's Bar and the Honore Harbour decorated with Christmas ornaments. They captioned the post: "Hello everyone, So it is Christmas time on the island. Ok, someone asked what's that, they have filmed the Christmas special, take care."
The post excited fans with many sharing their delight at the upcoming festival instalment. One replied: "Can't wait," while another said: "Looking forward to it."
Another fan bumped into Ralf Little's successor, Don Gilet, who will play the show's lead detective in the Christmas special and upcoming series.

With Ralf making an unexpected departure from the series, BBC chiefs have confirmed that Don will be filling the void, with production already underway featuring the new lead detective.
