After bringing back its original shark full-zip hoodie earlier this month, A Bathing Ape (BAPE) is back to unveil its fourth collaboration with Bounty Hunter, the Japanese fashion and toy label led by Hikaru Iwanaga.
Iwanaga himself stars in the co-branded line's campaign, sporting the duo's logo-laden coats, hoodies and shirts on a bright white bike. The hero silhouette is a brown varsity jacket boasting "BH" block lettering across the chest and joint iconography on the body. On the shoulders, a "93" patch nods to the year that BAPE was founded, while a "95" patch pays homage to Bounty Hunter's establishment; and on the back, "Bathing Hunter" stitching toasts to the labels' team-up.
Elsewhere, a shark hoodie boasts Bounty Hunter's BXH logo and BAPE's Ape Head, and a snowboarding jacket appears in monochromatic black, with subtle shark motifs lining the hood. T-shirts feature collaborative graphics like shark faces with trompe-l'oeil zippers and "Baby Milo" illustrations.
In footwear, the pair puts forth the Sharksta, which employs a black leather and mesh upper with dual logos across the tongue and heel, and the Skull Shoe, which takes inspiration from an archival BAPE model from the '90s with collaborative iconography in the same locations.
The latest BAPE x Bounty Hunter collection is now available to shop online and in BAPE's Japan stores, with prices ranging from ¥8,800 JPY to ¥126,000 JPY. Take a look at the lineup in the gallery above.
