The Umbrella Academy season 4 cast: Who is joining for the final series?

The Umbrella Academy is returning after a two-year hiatus for its fourth series but who stars in the hit comic book adaptation?

The end is nigh for The Umbrella Academy with Netflix already confirming that the Umbrellas’ story will be brought to an end with the upcoming fourth season. Showrunner Steve Blackman previously stated he felt it was right to end the show after series four even though it will be the shortest yet with just six episodes in comparison to the usual 10.

As well as the usual suspects, The Umbrella Academy season four will be welcoming some new stars for the drama’s final hurdle.

Who is in the cast of The Umbrella Academy season 4? Viktor Hargreeves - Elliot Page 

Season three was an important series for Viktor as after learning that Sissy died in 1989, he came out as a transgender man, changing his name from Vanya to Viktor.

Apart from The Umbrella Academy, Page’s biggest work has been in Juno, Close To You, Inception, X-Men: Days Of Future Past and Tales Of The City.

Luther Hargreeves - Tom Hopper

Actor Tom Hopper had his big acting break in 2010 when he played Sir Percival in the BBC drama Merlin.

He then went on to feature in Black Sails, Game Of Thrones, Terminator: Dark Fate, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, as well as Prime Video’s Space Cadet.

In The Umbrella Academy, Hopper portrays Luther Hargreeves who was known as Number 1, and was the leader before the gang parted ways before the events in the first series.

Allison Hargreeves was Number 3 before they split up and went on to become an actress with help from her “rumouring” superpower, where she is able to get people to do what she says.

She is played by actress Emmy Raver-Lampman who has been in Jane The Virgin, The Beekeeper, Blacklight and is the voice of Molly Tillerman in the animated series Central Park.

Gene Thibodeau - Nick Offerman

A newcomer to season four is Gene Thibodeau who, along with his wife Jean, is the leader of a group called the Keepers who believe they are living in the wrong timeline.

Actor Nick Offerman will be recognised for playing Ron Swanson in the sitcom Parks and Recreation, as well as the President in 2024’s Civil War.

Jean Thibodeau - Megan Mullally

Playing Gene’s wife Jean is actress Megan Mullally who was behind Karen Walker in the comedy Will and Grace.

She was also Mrs Sestero in The Disaster Artist, Tammy II in Parks and Recreation and Chief in Children’s Hospital.

Five Hargreeves - Aidan Gallagher 

Five disappeared when he was 13 as he wanted to travel through time with his powers of teleportation but he was stuck in a post-apocalyptic future for 45 years before being able to return.

However, when he did come back, he returned to his 13-year-old body but mentally, he is the oldest and most experienced of them all.

Prior to joining The Umbrella Academy, actor Aidan Gallagher’s biggest role was in the Nickelodeon series Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn.

Diego Hargreeves - David Castaneda 

Diego is Number 2 of the family and so often fought with Luther over the role of leader in the academy.

Actor David Castaneda will be best recognised for playing Nicholas in Jane The Virgin as well as Hector in Sicario: Day Of The Soldado and Victor Suero in Most Dangerous Game season two.

Klaus Hargreeves - Robert Sheehan

Klaus Hargreeves star Robert Sheehan famously portrayed Nathan Young in the 2009 teen series Misfits, before starring as Darren Tracey in Love/Hate and Billy in Me And Mrs Jones.

Klaus struggled with his superpower of being able to channel the dead, turning to substance abuse to try and cope with what he could see and hear.

Sy Grossman/Denny Muntz - David Cross

The third and final newcomer for the fourth series is Sy Grossman/Denny Muntz who has been described as “a man who brings back together the members of The Umbrella Academy to find his daughter”.

Actor David Cross has featured in Small Soldiers, Kill Your Darlings, Arrested Development and Men In Black.
