SEAL Team is coming to an end on Paramount+ with the military drama’s final season consisting of 10 episodes. Jason Hayes star David Boreanaz opened up about how he was more than ready for the series to finish.

"I had expressed my interest not to do the show anymore," he told TV Insider. "I was finished regardless of even if they wanted to do two more seasons, one more season, I was done. So then the writers’ strike hit and it became six months later and that had already been decided."

David has directed one of the final episodes and says he is extremely proud, adding: "Yeah, it’s a very impactful episode. I was so happy to be able to do a subject matter of that intensity.

"And I’m excited to see Jason Hayes, maybe a flag wrapped over his coffin at the end of this series. Never know." Sunday, August 11, will see the first two episodes of SEAL Team season 7 premiere exclusively on Paramount Plus in the US and Canada.

The series will then premiere on Monday, August 12, in Australia. One new episode will then air every Sunday following the two-episode season premiere.

Similar to most streaming services, Paramount Plus releases new shows at midnight Pacific Time (PT) and 3am Eastern Time (ET).

As a Paramount Plus original, the only way to access SEAL Team is as a Paramount Plus subscriber. For those in the US, either the Paramount Plus Essential or Paramount Plus with Showtime plan will give access to the episodes as soon as they air.

For those in the UK, there is no release date for the final season as of yet, but the series is usually available to watch on Sky Max.

Filmed in Los Angeles and on location in Colombia, the final episodes star Neil Brown Jr. (played by Ray Perry), AJ Buckley (Sonny Quinn) and Toni Trucks (Lisa Davis) as returning characters.

"Dedicated door-kicker Sonny Quinn battles against changing tides as Jason and Ray's shifting focus means that other teammates must shoulder more responsibility."

It continues: "Ripped away from their loved ones at a moment's notice to be deployed across the globe, Bravo team remains dedicated to their duties. Even in the face of overwhelming odds, they know this is the price to keep the families they left behind safe."
