El Hijo Del Vikingo will not be competing at PROGRESS Wrestling’s show later this month due to an injury. PROGRESS announced on Twitter on Monday that the former AAA Mega Champion has been pulled from his match with Cara Noir at Vendetta 2 on November 2th due to needing to recover from an injury.
The promotion wrote:
“El Hijo Del Vikingo injury update:
Despite recovering he will not be ready to compete to the high level he would want for a European debut.
We are working on a new date with Vikingo and hope to see him very soon in a PROGRESS ring, hopefully before year end.”
Vikingo suffered a knee injury during TNA’s Impact taping in a match against Trent Seven on October 27th. He noted after that the injury didn’t do significant ligament damage, and that he would be returning to the ring in 20 days.
