Liv Morgan has been accused of disrespecting Jackie Redmond in interviews, and Redmond is inclined to disagree. Redmond recently appeared on Gabby AF and spoke with Gabby Laspisa about her on-screen segments with Morgan, noting that their dynamic is not a matter of malice in her opinion.
“The thing with Liv is, I understand that her tactics are questionable and she’s not always the kindest or most graceful of a winner,” Redmond said (per Fightful). “When I have a job to do, she has treated me pretty respectfully and kind of given me some open answers and been honest with me. My take all the time as a journalist, and I do this in Hockey too, it’s like, all I ever want is honesty and vulnerability and openness, even if that openness is you not being kind to someone else or maybe not having the best personality traits. I’m never gonna s**t on that because that’s what I want, I want the truth.”
She continued, “If Liv feels like she’s the one that’s been wronged here, how can I be angry at her for feeling that way, that’s how she feels. Honestly when you look at it, I feel like there are two sides to the story. That’s what I was trying to accomplish with that original sit down interview like, listen, there’s a reason that Liv has so much hate and disdain for Rhea. That comes from somewhere, it doesn’t just come out of thin air. There’s a history there. As a journalist, we have to tell that story, that’s a part of all of this. Everyone is always accountable, whether they’re in the right or wrong, we’re all accountable. That’s how I look at that.”
