Chelsea have reportedly been forced to rectify an administration error after initially omitting Tosin Adarabioyo from their squad to face Servette in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night. The defender is hoping to make his competitive debut for the Blues against the Swiss team.
Chelsea landed Adarabioyo on a free transfer earlier this summer after his contract with Fulham expired.
He was named on the bench for the Blues’ Premier League opener against Manchester City at the weekend but failed to make it onto the pitch as his side were defeated 2-0 at Stamford Bridge.

According to Sky Sports, Adarabioyo was left out of the Chelsea squad on Tuesday due to the admin error but has now been added back in ahead of the clash against Servette.
The west London giants face a two-legged qualifying showdown to secure a place in the Europa Conference League, with the first leg taking place at Stamford Bridge ahead of the return match a week later.
The Blues have the opportunity to play in the competition for the first time in their history after finishing sixth in the Premier League table last season. They previously won the Champions League in 2012 and 2021 and also tasted success in the Europa League in 2013 and 2019.
Adarabioyo faces a huge challenge to nail down a regular starting place under Enzo Maresca, with Levi Colwill and Wesley Fofana starting ahead of him against the Citizens.
The 26-year-old also faces competition for a starting place from fellow centre-backs Axel Disasi and Benoit Badiashile, with Trevoh Chalobah appearing to have no future at the club.
Adarabioyo has bags of Premier League experience after featuring 78 times for Fulham in the top-flight during a four-year spell at Craven Cottage.

And after putting pen-to-paper on a four-year contract at Chelsea, the defender explained: “Chelsea is a huge club and this is a full-circle moment for me. I was born three miles away from Stamford Bridge and made my professional debut there.
“I’m very excited and looking forward to helping push the club in the direction we want to go.”
And when discussing Maresca’s style of play in a separate interview, the star said: “It suits every player here really. We're all very talented footballers and we're looking forward to playing the style. From day one, he's been implementing his style of play and we're all buying into it. It's a lot of football. We're enjoying it.”
