Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) has completed the Phase 1 revitalization project on the Lai Chi Vun Shipyards – X11-X15 earlier this month.
The project features a variety of attractions, including a historical exhibition hall, children’s entertainment areas, and cultural spaces aimed at both local residents and international visitors.
Revitalized through a collaboration between the gaming operator and the Macau SAR government, the revamped site includes a presentation area for 80 spectators, educational shipbuilding games for children, and a 60-meter-long Skypark. The exhibition hall incorporates digital technology to vividly showcase Macau’s shipbuilding heritage.
In addition to ongoing activities, a Christmas Market will take place every weekend in December, offering games, food, and performances. The shipyards will be open on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on weekends from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
GEG has stated that it will collaborate with local SMEs and groups to organize different types of performances and activities at the Lai Chi Vun Shipyards.
