The Repair Shop: Chris looks at 'smallest' dictionary he's seen
The Repair Shop was challenged with restoring a very small dictionary during the latest episode of the BBC show (January 8) leaving viewers mesmerised.
The damaged pocket dictionary belonged to Stuart Taylor, who came into possession of the item after it belonged to his mum, Cherry, since she was 13 years old.
Sadly, Cherry passed away of leukaemia when she was 38 leaving the dictionary to Stuart.
"My sister saved a few items that she could then pass on to me and my other siblings later on in life," Stuart explained to expert Chris Shaw.
He then confirmed he was given the damaged book when he was 15 but wanted it repaired.

"Goodness, well it's a little book but with big problems," Chris said as he got to work on the dictionary.
He added: "I never knew a dictionary, they came like this. It is the smallest dictionary I've ever worked on, but it is in such bad condition."
Looking closely at the damaged pocket book, the bookbinder pointed out it was damp and contained a "huge amount of grime on the leather".
Chris added: "There are so many complications with such a small book."
But Chris skillfully managed to restore the pocket dictionary to an incredible standard.
"I'm amazed that you were able to get it back to this condition," said Stuart when he was reunited with his cherished book at the workshop.
The Repair Shop viewers were also left impressed by the restoration, with one person writing on X: "I love the book restorations #TheRepairShop."
A second stated: "Watching Chris repair books is just mesmerising. What he did to that dictionary was amazing! #therepairshop".
A third chimed in: "Wow that little dictionary."
